Nursing Homes

In line with the Covid – 19 Further Extended Temporary Assistance Scheme Procedures, the payment for Standard Assistance ended on 30th June 2021.

The Outbreak Assistance Payment element of the Scheme has now ended as of 30th April 2023 (i.e., no costs incurred post 30th April 2023 may be claimed).

Please note the updated scheme details below.


For the periods January 2023 and February 2023:

• The exclusion of non-pay items from eligibility
• Overall monthly threshold limit of €33,000

For the periods March 2023 and April 2023:

• The exclusion of non-pay items from eligibility
• Overall monthly threshold limit of €20,000

To make a claim, download and complete following forms

Outbreak Assistance Payment Form should be completed for those nursing homes who are claiming for the Outbreak assistance for April 2023. Deadline 30th June 2023.

Independent Report to be submitted along with Outbreak Assistance Form above.
