A Temporary Assistance Payment Scheme is available to support nursing homes with additional costs due to coronavirus (COVID-19). The HSE will administer the scheme and make payments to nursing homes. The National Treatment Purchase Fund (NTPF) will administer the application process and provide support and advice to the HSE. The Scheme was extended by the Minister on 30 June 2020 for a further 3 months and will cease on 30 September 2020.
Register for the scheme
Sign and complete an application form to register for the scheme. The application form must be signed by an authorised person on behalf of the nursing home and sent to email@example.com
An application form must be completed for each Form.
Types of assistance available
To make a claim, download and complete following forms
Extended Standard Assistance Payment Form for July should be completed by all nursing homes who now wish to claim for July. Deadline 14th August.
Extended Outbreak Assistance Payment Form should be completed in addition to Extended Standard Assistance payment Form for those nursing homes who are claiming for the Outbreak assistance for July. Deadline 21st August.
Independent Report to be submitted along with Outbreak Assistance Form above.
