Recruitment FAQs
Applying for roles in the NTPF
When vacancies arise, they are advertised on our NTPF recruitment page. If you see a vacancy that you feel you are suitable for and wish to apply, applicants should submit the following via the Rezoomo portal:
- a curriculum vitae
- a cover letter setting out their reasons for considering themselves suitable for the role and pointing to the relevant experience that illustrates how the criteria listed above are met
- the candidate must indicate in their application their ability to meet post specific requirements
Shortlisting of applicants will apply on the basis of the information submitted. We can only accept complete applications received by the closing date as indicated in the advertisement.
When you apply through the online recruitment system, you will receive an automatic email acknowledgement of your application from Rezoomo.
Once the closing date for applications has passed, we process all applications received. We will revert to all candidates with an outcome once the shortlisting has been finalised.
If you have not been shortlisted for interview you will be contacted via the Rezoomo portal.
Candidates who are shortlisted for interview will be informed of the relevant stages in the process and provided with full interview details via the Rezoomo portal.
Typically, there is one round of interviews. However, this may vary depending on the level and role.
We encourage you to reach out to us directly at recruitment@ntpf.ie should you require assistance or reasonable accommodation during the recruitment process.
You can make multiple applications for different roles. If you see a vacancy you feel you are suitable for and you wish to apply, please submit an application through the application process outlined in the job specification.
Our remuneration is informed by public sector pay policy, and in line with the public health sector pay scales, so pay is not negotiable.
The successful candidate will commence on the first point of the salary scale, in line with current Government pay policy, unless they have previously worked in the public/civil sector.
Any successful candidate, who currently works in the civil/public service, will transfer across to the NTPF salary scales once they can provide a letter from their current employer detailing their current salary. This will only be requested from the successful candidate at job offer stage.
The salary range for each role is as stated in the job specification, and in line with the current pay scales.
Incomplete or late applications will not be considered, to ensure a streamlined and fair process to all candidates who apply. The closing date and time is clearly outlined on each job specification.
The onus is on any potential candidate to ensure they follow the application procedures outlined by NTPF.
Technical problems with this service should be reported to the recruitment team by email at recruitment@ntpf.ie
