About the NTPF

The NTPF is an independent public body, undertaking diverse roles within the Irish Health Care System. These include Contract Management with Nursing Homes, Commissioning of consultations and treatments for patients, assisting hospitals in the standardisation of waiting list management by providing protocols and undertaking audits, validation of waiting lists through direct correspondence with patients, and publication of waiting list data on a monthly basis.

Access the National Public Hospital Waiting List Reports through the links below. The NTPF is the statutory body responsible for publishing these reports.

The National Waiting Lists reports are compiled from data received from each public hospital in Ireland.

The NTPF gathers this data every week, checks it for adherence to our protocols and dataset definitions and stores it in our internal databases. On the second Friday of every month, the data is published by the NTPF on our interactive dashboard and on downloadable Open-Data files.
