Getting Here Sustainably

We encourage staff, stakeholders, and visitors to travel to our location using active and sustainable transport options in support of the TFI Smarter Travel Mark.

Ashford House is easily accessible via bus, rail, and cycling.

  • Poolbeg Street Stop: (1 minute walk). Stop 7564 (also referenced as Stop 7665 depending on exact pole/spot). Bus Numbers: 47, 65, 65B, 68, 68A, 69, 69X.
  • Tara Street Stop: (2 minute walk). Stop 1502 / Stop 7732 (near Tara Station). Bus Numbers: C2, C3, C4, 52, and connecting regional/local services.
  • Townsend Street / South Townsend Street Stop (2 – 3 minute walk). Stop 341 (South Townsend Street). Bus Numbers: Local commuter and city routes running through the South Townsend corridor.
  • George’s Quay / Hawkin’s Street Stop (3 minute walk). Stop 4495 (Hawkins Street) / George’s Quay stops. Bus Numbers: 15, 68, 68A, 69, 69X, 84X.
  • Burgh Quay / Dublin City South Stop: (4 minute walk). Stop 339 (Burgh Quay). Bus Numbers: 300, 600, and regional/intercity coaches stopping along Burgh Quay.

  • Nearest Station: Tara Street Station is a 2 minute walk from Ashford House. Take any DART or Commuter rail service that stops at Tara Street Station.

Alternative Rail Connection (Heuston or Connolly).

  • If arriving at Dublin Heuston, it is approximately a 50 minutes’ walk to Ashford House.
  • Board the Luas Red Line toward The Point and get off at Abbey Street or transfer/walk or take a connecting train to Tara Street.
  • If arriving at Dublin Connolly, you can walk (about 10 – 12 minutes) or take a DART/commuter train one stop south to Tara Street.

 

Nearest Luas Stops:

  • Westmoreland (Green Line) is a 2 minute walk away. Take the Luas Green Line to Westmoreland stop, then walk east toward Tara Street / Ashford House (approx. 2 minutes).
  • Abbey Street (Red Line) is about a 6 minute walk away. Take the Luas Red Line to Abbey Street stop, then walk south toward Tara Street (approx. 6 minutes).

For those who cycle to Ashford House
