About the NTPF

The NTPF is an independent public body, undertaking diverse roles within the Irish Health Care System. These include Contract Management with Nursing Homes, Commissioning of consultations and treatments for patients, assisting hospitals in the standardisation of waiting list management by providing protocols and undertaking audits, validation of waiting lists through direct correspondence with patients, and publication of waiting list data on a monthly basis.

Eoin Darcy
Director of ICT

Eoin Darcy has worked in the IT industry for over 30 years across the process control, IT security, communications, and healthcare industries. He joined the NTPF as Director of ICT in 2018. Eoin has extensive experience in software development, project management, program management and IT operations.
He studied Electrical/Electronic Engineering in DIT (now Technological University Dublin) and received a B.Sc. (Eng) and an Honours Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
